Departed the tiny and well sheltered loch off the mouth of Loch Sunart. A bracing congratulation to Stella and Skipper Peter upon their wedding anniversary when we took the broadside of the strong winds whilst storming at 8kts with rocks ahoy. On course towards Tobermory hidden by a cruise liner, then heading SW down the Sound of Mull 25 miles to a lunch anchorage in the sheltered Loch Aline. Off again at 1600 to cross Loch Linnhe with clear views of the great Ben Nevis. Entering the picturesque Oban and getting alongside at the marina on Kerrera Island at 1750.
After refreshing showers we're about to set off on the marina ferry to Oban for a meal to celebrate the anniversary; congratulations Stella and Peter!
